This week I intend to start my artefact, has anyone started theirs yet? I have been thinking about different ways i can present this and so far i am thinking about doing a written artefact as it is how i feel i can portray my inquiry response well. How is everyone else progressing with the assigned tasks?
Theoretical concept- collective intelligence Reading through Lens 1 I learnt the importance of connectivity on this course as it is about being a community, we use web 2.0 to connect with other people frequently via Skype and our blogs. We are all able to create discussion/ debate via comments and get involved with what we each are doing to progress with our studies. We use our “collective intelligence” to help reflect on the process of the course, we don’t all have to agree or be doing the same thing we are just communicating our own ideas. Mark Zuckerburg (Facebook founder) said that connectivity is a basic human right this links in with ethics as we question the truth behind this statement. We don’t all have equal access to the internet and therefore connectivity for some is more accessible for some than others. Hi Oona, have you started your written artefact yet? I am starting mine this week and choosing to use imagery and talking on a video to portray my inquiry. I decided upon this because my practice is mainly teaching dance to young children. I am continually using imagery or stories to explain things to them in lessons, so I feel it is a way that I am comfortable with that links to my practice. Sam x
