Theoretical concept- collective intelligence Reading through Lens 1 I learnt the importance of connectivity on this course as it is about being a community, we use web 2.0 to connect with other people frequently via Skype and our blogs. We are all able to create discussion/ debate via comments and get involved with what we each are doing to progress with our studies. We use our “collective intelligence” to help reflect on the process of the course, we don’t all have to agree or be doing the same thing we are just communicating our own ideas. Mark Zuckerburg (Facebook founder) said that connectivity is a basic human right this links in with ethics as we question the truth behind this statement. We don’t all have equal access to the internet and therefore connectivity for some is more accessible for some than others.
